It is not with Icarian hubris that we are proud of introduce the Cyllarus Overdrive MK1. Sprouted from the roots of a very popular boutique overdrive whose hype was not of the designers making, the Cyllarus sports improvements many have sought from the original circuit.
Equipped with Gain, Level, Treble and Bass controls, the Cyllarus is beyond versatile. Gone is the limited picky single band treble control, and a custom designed highly expressive 2 band Treble/Bass control replaces it. This eq takes notes from my amplifier building roots and allows for a greater spectrum of control when given different guitars (or basses), and to handle different amplifiers/rooms. There is more maximum gain on tap to better handle under-wound pickups, or to have even more dynamic range with standard/hot winds.
The Cyllarus Overdrive MK1 is equipped with USA made Switchcraft jacks for reliable operation, and our tried and true click-less bypass system. This circuit allows for for easy and silent effect switching, but also momentary operation for when you just need a little.
